Lago Maggiore Half Marathon: running through beautiful landscapes.

On 9th March 2008 the first Lago Maggiore Half Marathon will be run. This is a new, spectacular race organised by A.S.D. Sport PRO-MOTION.
L M H M will be characterised by a breathtaking itinerary, with splendid landscapes around Lake Maggiore: the race will start from Stresa, while the arrival line, after running the traditional 21.097 km, will be in Verbania.

Apart from being particularly beautiful, the itinerary of L M H M will also be very fast: with no difficult points or abrupt changes of direction, L M H M is the ideal competition for those who want to break their record.

Another aspect specific to L M H M will be its ability to combine sport and tourism; amateurs will thus have the possibility of visiting the beauty spots in the Verbano Cusio Ossola region through a wide offer of tourist packages.
